Hello, I'm Carolina. For some years now I have been working photographing love stories from all over the world. I believe that right now I have the most beautiful work there is. Meeting people from different countries and cultures is incredibly inspiring to me. I love photographing weddings of all kinds. I must confess that I get very excited when I work in unconventional locations, be it a forest, an old-fashioned century villa, or high up in the mountains in the middle of nowhere.

 

I grew up in Lagoa, a small town in the Algarve in southern Portugal, from where I left to study and then return again. The beauty and simplicity of the surroundings of my area is crucial to me. Living in low-traffic, stress-free areas is regenerating, this is crucial for me. I always leave from here, whether for leisure or business trips. Whenever I return, I need to recharge my batteries and experience those pleasures in life that I can't give up.

 

I love nature and all those moments that allow us to fully appreciate it. I like the summer, the heat, but also the cold of winter. Autumn with its colours and Spring with its smells and life. I like the silence and I like to celebrate always. In my free time I like to take care of myself, to do gardening, to read a good book or watch that movie or series in front of the fireplace, to cook for my family and friends, and to listen to music, always. I love tea and especially picking and caring for the dried leaves to make it. I value the organisation of my space, order, cleanliness and that gives me peace.
